LinkTV News approached Method, Inc. to create the identity and interactive model for an iPad application. LinkTV is a television channel dedicated to providing global perspectives on news, events, and culture.
LinkTV's goal was to harness the massive reach of iOS and Android mobile (including tablet) to provide an immersive, action-oriented experience for audiences.
Working with Art Director Paul Miller, Design Lead Tomi Lähdesmäki and Interactive Design Lead Fabian Falconett, our team's goal was aimed at creating an engaging and intuitive news consumption experience.
We achieved this by creating semantically related content, documentaries, native tweets, and blog posts from the country of origin. The app suggests additional topics to explore and directs the reader on actions they can take from each story.
